A new documentary about Princess Diana's life may soon come on Netflix, and it's about to drop explosive details about the late People's Princess. The four-part series made shocking claims about the Princess of Wales, including a story about her alleged attempt to take her own life four times, which may significantly affect her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Titled Bring Me: Diana, it would chronicle the time of Princess Diana's early years to her unhappy marriage with Prince Charles. It would also document her struggles in life, like her mental health battles and eating disorders.

Allegedly, according to Mirror Online, the show revealed that the mother-of-two tried to kill herself for four times. Aside from that, it is also set to release never-before-seen footage from her speeches from 1990 to 1992.

The Sun noted that DSP, a TV company that is also behind ITV's Torvill and Dean, is the one responsible for the controversial documentary. Although Netflix has yet to commission the show, multiple sources revealed its filming has begun.

With all these subsequent revelations, Prince William and Prince Harry may find it hard to see the story about their mother, 23 years after her death. It is also expected to be a massive blow to the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, who are, reportedly, both in talks with the streaming giant for possible future projects.

"William and Harry will be very upset and angry," a source told The Sun. "It's particularly distressing for Harry because he's been working with Netflix."

The royal family is also said to have refused to take part in the series, just like what the Spencer family did. Bring Me: Diana's coming is also believed to be in bad timing, as the monarchy is still dealing with the Sussexes' departure.

Anyhow, a spokeswoman for Endemol Shine, DSP's parent company, stressed that the documentary is not a "commissioned show." So, everything that it would reveal is in the public domain.

The series will also brush on the topic of Princess Diana and Prince Charles' marriage. To recall, the two tied the knot at St Paul's Cathedral on July 29, 1981. However, in 1992, Prime Minister John Major announced their separation, although they were still living together at Kensington Palace, Daily Mail noted.

They eventually got divorced in 1996. Sadly, after a year, Princess Diana met her demise in a car crash in Paris. Prince Charles, on the other hand, went on to marry Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in 2005 at Windsor Guildhall.
