Things are getting a lot more complicated between Dr. Ji Sun Woo and her ex-husband, Lee Tae Oh, in the upcoming The World Of The Married Episode 13. The former couple will have to deal with the aftermath of their steamy night, including its effect on their son.
Joon Yong (Jeon Jin Seo) spirals out of control and will get involved in a criminal act in the upcoming episode. It looks like Joon Yong will steal something from a grocery store. A teaser for Episode 13 shows Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) and Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon) are dealing with their son's offense.
This could be the teen's rebellious act after finding out that his parents shared an intimate moment recently. Joon Yong can be heard in the teaser asking his mother why she needs to see his father after everything that happened between them.
Someone could be heard in the teaser telling Sun Woo that kleptomania is a condition that needs medical attention. It looks like it would make Sun Woo reconsider her earlier plan to leave town, not to mention her renewed feelings for her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, the The World of the Married Episode 13 teaser also hinted that someone could end up in a hospital. Sun Woo was seen sobbing in a hallway in the hospital.
At Tae Oh's home, Da Kyung (Han So Hee) is having a hard time dealing with Joon Yong living with them and the changes in her husband's behavior. She already has suspicions about her husband's relationship with Sun Woo. In the previous episode, Da Kyung has found out that Sun Woo's claim about Tae Oh stalking her is true.
Da Kyung made aware that it was Sun Woo who helped Tae Oh out of the hook in Park In Kyu's (Lee Hak Joo) death. Sun Woo offered herself at her ex-husband's alibi the night of In Kyu's questionable death.
In the upcoming episode, Da Kyung may find out the truth about what Sun Woo did for Tae Oh from her father, Yeo Byeong Kyu (Lee Kyoung Yong). Chairman Yeo could get more involved in his daughter's marriage once he finds out that his son-in-law slept with Sun Woo. This could mean that Sun Woo's lie to the police may also be exposed in the upcoming episode.
The World of the Married is based on the hit BBC One series Doctor Foster. The Korean adaptation airs every Friday and Saturday at 10.50 pm KST on JTBC. The upcoming Episode 13 will be released on May 8.
