Did Prince Harry change his accent? This is what some royal observers are saying after hearing the Duke of Sussex's voice in a video with Meghan Markle and their son Archie Harrison.
According to This Morning host Philip Schofield, Prince Harry sounded more Scottish than English based on what he heard in the video. However, royal expert Camilla Tominey said that Prince Harry was speaking to his son and sounded like he was chirping.
"You know how people speak to babies though, we all sound ridiculous," Tominey said.
The royal observers also commented on how much Prince Harry and Meghan had such chemistry even as one of them was behind the camera to take the shot of Meghan reading to their son. They also loved watching an animated Archie in full color since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don't often share video clips of their son to protect his privacy.
Meanwhile, royal fans are gushing over how much Archie looks a lot like his father. Side-by-side photos of Prince Harry and Archie have trended on the internet to show how both have the same red hair and facial features.
"The boy is Harry's carbon copy," one royal fan said. Others commented that Archie is Prince Harry's mini-me or twin.
But apart from the looks, Archie might have also inherited his father's mischievous personality. As Meghan read to her son, Archie refused to listen and even tried to pull the book from his mother, drawing a laugh from his father behind the camera.
The video of Meghan and Archie, as taken by Prince Harry, was shared on Save the Children's Instagram account for charity. The organization hopes to raise awareness and receive donations that will go to the most vulnerable families amid this coronavirus pandemic.
Incidentally, the video was released on Archie's first birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are celebrating their son's first year with just the three of them since they are still in lockdown in Los Angeles.
According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan had a messy birthday party for Archie with his "smash cake." The Sussex family also likely had a Zoom chat with the family and friends, including Archie's cousins -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Prince Harry and Meghan have been staying in Los Angeles since the end of March. They moved to Hollywood from quiet Vancouver as they were supposed to launch their new foundation, Archewell, but then the pandemic happened.
