Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be in a video call with Prince William and Kate Middleton for the very first time in months, a new report has claimed. The Sussexes will, reportedly, chat with the Cambridges on the day of their son Archie Harrison's first birthday.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that Prince William and Kate will want their kids George, Charlotte and Louis to chat with their little cousin Archie. Nicholl said that the Cambridge children haven't seen Archie for months so they are looking forward to the video call to see how much he's grown.

But the world will also be treated with a fresh glimpse of the seventh in line to the British throne. Royal correspondent Roya Nikkah posted on her Twitter account that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will release a new photo of their son on his first birthday on May 6.

"You can expect to see him," a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan was quoted by Nikkah.

It's not clear, however, how Prince Harry and Meghan will release the photo since they have closed down their Sussex Royal Instagram account and official Sussex Royal website. The new account of their foundation, Archewell, has yet to be up for the public to follow.

Archie's birthday is also supposed to be a double celebration and serve a welcome party for the Sussexes in Los Angeles. According to Tatler, the original plan was to have a star-studded celebration with A-list guests like Serena Williams and Ellen DeGeneres.

However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, Prince Harry and Meghan have decided to cancel their party plans. Instead, the family will be celebrating Archie's first birthday with just among themselves and with a Zoom party with the royal family.

Reports stated that Queen Elizabeth will also use the digital platform to wish his youngest great grandson a happy birthday. Meghan is also likely going to bake a cake for her only child.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan are bracing themselves for the release of their tell-all book Finding Freedom as written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The authors said that this will be an "honest, up-close and disarming portrait" of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they have been granted a unique access of their lives. It will apparently reveal the most accurate story of their journey from Sussex royals to their decision to step back from the royal family.

The book is apparently raking a lot of pre-orders at Amazon. It will be in the shelves by August.
