A lot of people have been liking Kate Middleton to Princess Diana, but will she be getting the same title the late People's Princess had when Prince William becomes the king? In her appearance on This Morning, the Duchess of Cambridge receives praises for being like the Princess of Wales from her looks to the things she has been doing.

Kate Middleton talked to the This Morning hosts, Philip Scofield and Holly Willoughby, about her new photography project, Hold Still. This initiative aims to capture the nation's spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown.

The mother-of-three receives a lot of praise for her appearance. Some even liken her to her mother-in-law, Princess Diana. Twitter gets filled with several admirations from royal fans, saying she's the closest thing to Diana they will ever get.

"She really is just lovely and like Diana, human!" one fan said, via The Sun. "I think she is lovely and natural, very much like her late mother-in-law, normal and a real person," another one added.

The United Kingdom has been in lockdown for seven weeks. Hence, Kate Middleton wants to inspire their nation by reflecting the "resilience, bravery, and kindness" they are all experiencing by capturing their family, friends, and colleagues living in quarantine. Hold Still runs in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, to which the Prince William's wife is a patron of.

Meanwhile, as Kate Middleton is being likened to Princess Diana, will she get the same title Prince Charles' ex-wife had when Prince William ascends the throne? Kate received the title of the Duchess of Cambridge upon her marriage to the Duke of Cambridge. So, technically, she is already a princess.

However, unlike her daughter, Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleton is never born a princess, Express noted. So, if she uses the title of the "princess," she would be called Princess William of Wales.

When Prince William becomes Prince of Wales, Kate Middleton will have the right to bear the name of Catherine, Princess of Wales, like Princess Diana, who used to be the Princess of Wales upon her marriage to Prince Charles. However, they will not automatically get these titles.

The names Prince and Princess of Wales still have to be bestowed by the monarch. So, when Prince Charles becomes the new king, it's upon his discretion if he will give his son his previous title.

Anyhow, although there's a high chance that Prince Charles will give them the said names, it's still possible that Prince William may not receive it. If this happens, Kate Middleton will not be the Princess of Wales.
