Fans of Kpop girl groups are looking forward to the Big 3 showdown of their top girl groups this coming June. For next month, fans are expecting BLACKPINK and TWICE to make a comeback while Red Velvet is expected to debut its first sub-unit composed of Irene and Seulgi.

According to a report by Kpopstarz, BLINKs, ONCEs and Reveluvs are all set to welcome back their favorite girl groups from YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment in what is expected to be a star-studded comeback month.

Based on the report, TWICE will be the first to make a comeback on June 1 with the album More and More. All nine members of TWICE have reportedly completed the filming of their music video in Jeju Island.

It can be recalled that the last TWICE comeback was for Feel Special in September, last year but Mina was unable to participate in the promotions to focus on her mental health. The Japanese TWICE member reportedly suffered from anxiety prompting doctors to recommend her temporary hiatus to focus on receiving treatment.

Another anticipated event for June is the debut of Red Velvet Irene and Seulgi's subunit. After much speculation from fans, SM Entertainment recently confirmed that the duo is in the final stages of preparation for their official activities, All Kpop reported.

Reveluvs were immediately excited over the news since they have been pushing for a Red Velvet subunit featuring the duo since they first showed off their chemistry during their rookie days with performances under SR14G Seulgi & Irene.

Red Velvet last made a comeback in December of last year for The ReVe Festival Finale, the third chapter in their 2019 album trilogy. Unfortunately, as they were promoting for the album, their member Wendy suffered from extensive injuries from a stage mishap during rehearsals for Gayo Daejeon. She was only recently released from the hospital after months of confinement.

However, the most anticipated comeback may have to be the one from BLACKPINK because it has been more than a year since their last comeback for Kill This Love

After multiple delays, YG Entertainment finally confirmed that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose were releasing new material this June. Before their comeback, BLINKs can look forward to BLACKPINK's major collaboration with Lady Gaga for her upcoming Chromatica album.

It was also hinted that G-Dragon and Black Label founder Teddy were involved in writing songs and producing new music for the YG girl group.
