Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now living in Los Angeles. As they begin their new lives as a celebrity A-list couple, it will never be complete without a posh Beverly Hills mansion. Hence, the Sussexes are now, reportedly, staying in the $18-million mansion previously owned by the American actor Tyler Perry.
Allegedly, Oprah Winfrey was the one who introduced Tyler Perry to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They are now living in his former home, but it has yet to be confirmed if the couple bought it.
According to Mirror Online, the mansion has its own gated community. It's the place where the rich and the famous, like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, hide from the paparazzi and public.
The Tuscan villa-inspired home has a fountain at the front entrance that will put everyone who will visit in awe. It also boasts a 22-acre ground, where Archie can freely run around and explore. Marble pillars support its shady porch, where a huge pool can be seen.
Of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own private security team to guard the gates of the exclusive community. There is also a private drive that goes across the top of the hill and into the courtyard. The lush green trees and landscaped shrubs also surrounded the place for some added protection to keep them off the people's prying eyes.
Daily Mail reported that there are no records that Tyler Perry's mansion has been sold to Archie's parents. Hence, it remains to be seen if they already bought it or the 50-year-old comedian just let them live there.
This news comes after the real estate broker, Josh Altman, revealed that the Beverly Ridge Estates was the ideal home for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Allegedly, the two were about to purchase their own house with a price range of $10 to $20 million, Page Six noted.
He told the publication that they could easily "lowball" their way into the house due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He even said that they could get a great deal over the next six months.
At the price range that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are willing to pay, Altman explained that they could already have a lavish home in a secluded area they wanted, like in Mulholland Estates, Beverly Park, and Brentwood Country Estates. He also suggested a place in Palisades, but it has no security guarding the front entrance.
