Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik may soon tie the knot despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. Allegedly, they want it to make it happen quickly, and they will do everything, even eloping if needs be.
"Zayn is determined to marry Gigi," a source told Hollywood Life. "They have not made announcements about engagement, but it is only a matter of time."
The 27-year-old singer is eager to make the famed model his wife. Despite the sudden decision, they know that their friends will never get shocked even if they get married secretly before their baby's birth. The couple can also have a big wedding after the nationwide lockdown or when the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
Aside from that, fans believed that the songwriter had a new "matrimonial-inspired" tattoo, Harper's Bazaar noted. George Khalife, who designed the pair's matching third-eye bracelets, accidentally gave a glimpse of Zayn Malik's new ink when he showed his creations in an Instagram story.
The tattoo is based on the verse from Kahlil Gibran's poem, titled On Marriage. As the ink talks about marriage, the rumors are strong that they are already engaged and about to tie the knot.
The soon-to-be parents are now enjoying their time together in quarantine while waiting for the birth of their child. They spend their isolation in the Hadid's farm in Pennsylvania. All of Zayn Malik's relatives are in the United Kingdom, so as soon as the travel restrictions get lifted, the pair will, reportedly, go for a visit.
Gigi Hadid has a good relationship with her boyfriend's family, too. They all love her, and when everyone is allowed to travel again, they will also want to visit them in the United States and celebrate the baby news.
