The criticisms against Meghan Markle will continue to be her bane for many years. A royal expert said that Prince Harry's wife will be mommy shamed no matter what she does or even if she is a loving mom who adores her son.

Royal author Leslie Carroll, who wrote about the romance of Meghan and Prince Harry in 2018, spoke up about the Duchess of Sussex's latest bashing on the internet. Bestselling author Emily Giffin criticized Meghan for being "unmaternal" and "phony" after a video of the duchess reading to her son, Archie, was posted on line.

Giffin has since hidden her post and apologized for her comments against the Duchess of Sussex. However, she drew a reaction from both supporters and haters of Meghan.

Carroll said via Fox News that Meghan has been condemned and flogged for her choices as a mother. She will continue to be mommy shamed regardless if her choices are similar to Kate Middleton, or Princess Diana or the other royal moms like Princess Anne and Zara Tindall, Prince Harry's cousin.

The royal author, however, has witnessed first-hand how Meghan is a mother to Archie. Carroll said that the Duchess of Sussex, by nature, is a "nurturer" and yet she was still criticized for it.

"Motherhood is a learning curve for everyone; I'm not sure anyone is a 'natural' at it," Carroll said." But she is a very loving woman and a nurturer: we see this in her interactions with those she meets and mentors; and even in her brief encounters on rope lines during royal walkabouts."

Carroll also said that Meghan is a hugger and a "naturally affectionate" woman much like Princess Diana or even Prince Harry. The royal author said that she is what a child needs and can be a terrific role model for children.

Rosalind Chow, a behavioral expert, agrees that Meghan will have even more criticisms in the media as she balances her work and home life. Chow said that Meghan will be endlessly scrutinized for building her network now that she and Prince Harry have stepped out of their royal life. At the same time, she will be watched and judged for her choices about her family.

Carroll believes that it in the coming years, much will be emphasized on Meghan as a "bad mother" to the Sussex pair's detractors. However, the public who don't like Meghan will not have the same criticisms for Prince Harry.
