Meghan Markle will enjoy a special day on May 10 since it will be the first time she's celebrating Mother's Day in Los Angeles with her son, Archie, and husband, Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, previously, celebrated Mother's Day in March, as the U.K. traditionally observe this day two months earlier than the U.S. She was in Vancouver at that time but she still posted a Mother's Day greeting on the Sussex Royal Instagram account.

But, this Sunday weekend, Meghan will finally be able to have her first Mother's Day in her home state. However, since California is still under a government lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Meghan could be celebrating this special day quietly in their palatial home.

According to reports, Meghan and Prince Harry are staying in a gated compound above the Beverly Hills mountains, in an $18 million house that's over 25,000 square feet. Per Variety, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are living in a megamansion owned by producer and celebrity Tyler Perry. The place is a Tuscan-style building with eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, several alarm system and security cameras.

Prince Harry and Meghan have been social distancing and isolating in this massive crib since late March, after they moved in from Vancouver. Reports stated that the Sussexes have yet to meet Perry but they were able to close the deal on the house because of their mutual friend, Oprah Winfrey.

Reports also revealed that there has been no record that the house was sold; thus, Prince Harry and Meghan may likely be staying at the Beverly Hills mansion as the guests of Perry. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's stay is only temporary as they are, apparently, still looking for a more permanent house in Malibu.

Meanwhile, this will be the Sussex family's second celebration in quarantine within the week. Earlier, the couple had a quiet birthday celebration for Archie, who just turned one. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex commemorated Archie's birthday by sharing a video of the baby being read to by his mother for the Save the Children charity.

Prince Harry and Meghan was, reportedly, also going to have a "welcome to L.A." party as well. However, plans were dropped since large gatherings are not allowed in California during this pandemic crisis.

in 2019, Meghan celebrated her very first Mother's Day by posting a photo of Archie's feet, as taken at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Their son was only a few days old at that time, having been born on May 6.
