Prince Charles will soon become the King of the United Kingdom once Queen Elizabeth II abdicates or passes away. But, until it happens, he will remain as the Heir Apparent, who is the next person in line to the British Throne.

As per reports, he is now the longest-serving Heir Apparent in British history. This is also why it is not surprising that he has become one of the most popular royals.

However, despite his popularity, many individuals do not entirely see him as "King-material." In fact, several royal watchers even, reportedly, prefer Prince William to take over the throne more than the Queen's firstborn son.

Some royal experts and commentators also seemingly agree to this, according to Express UK. One of them, reportedly, includes the Sky News Australia host, Rita Panahi.

As revealed, the popular host claimed she has "fears" for the future when the Heir Apparent ascends to the throne. She said that the reason being is that Prince Charles is "everything" that Queen Elizabeth II is not. So, for that reason alone, she, reportedly, thinks that he is not fit to become King of the United Kingdom.

The host went on to assert that the Prince of Wales has been always vocal about several issues, even including matters that he should not get consider. She also pointed out that, because of this, he might not be able to "stay away" from meddling with "contentious issues."

In the end, she, reportedly, hopes that Queen Elizabeth II holds on, or possibly allow the Duke of Cambridge to take over the throne. As for Prince Charles, she hopes that he "goes off" with his wife and take "some quiet time" away from the British Monarchy.

Aside from the news host, royal biographer, Angela Levin also shared the same input concerning the Heir Apparent, as per the same publication. She, reportedly, claimed that the royal born-Prince's being "well-spoken" has become an "unroyal trait" that has "annoyed" his parents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, on several occasions. While this may be true, the claims have remained unconfirmed.

Speaking to BBC, however, Prince Charles previously noted that he is "not that stupid." He shared that the idea of him continuing to make "interventions" on matter he feels strongly about was total "nonsense."

It is not the same when you become a Sovereign. "You cannot be the same" if you are an heir or the Prince of Wales, he contended.
