Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew met through Princess Diana. As the public would recall, the Duchess of York was the Princess of Wales' "best friend" and distant cousin. After tying the knot with Prince Charles, biographers shared that the late Princess sought that they would be a perfect match.

Nearly seven years after, however, the York couple decided to part ways. This happened months prior to the Wales couple's official separation in 1992. They divorced each other in 1996, according to Town & Country.

Despite the separation and divorce, the royal couple still, reportedly, managed to maintain a "good relationship." In fact, the same publication reported that they have been living together for more than a decade now at the Royal Lodge.

To date, the York family, including Jack Brooksbank but, not Princess Beatrice, is observing self-isolation at the royal property amid the pandemic crisis in the United Kingdom. Although no confirmations have been made, the Duke and Duchess of York have been seen together doing charity works for the workers working at the frontlines.

With this at hand, it only goes to show how the former couple has remained in good ties with each other. This is why it is not entirely surprising why rumors of a second wedding have continued to develop in recent years.

In 2018, Sarah Ferguson told an interview that she and Prince Andrew are the "happiest divorced couple" in the world, according to Express UK. It also reportedly made sense as to why they have publicly "defended" and "praised" one another through the years.

But, as per experts and supporters, these statements given by the Duchess of York were "cryptic." As a result, it, reportedly, further strengthened the speculations that they might get married again soon.

While this is going to be great news, especially for fans and supporters, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have repeatedly emphasized that they are "happy" with what they have right now. As added by the Duchess, they are divorced "to" and not "from each other." "We are entirely compatible," Sarah Ferguson stated.

She continued to share that Prince Andrew is the "best man" that she knows. While they are no longer a "couple," we "believe" in each other," she added.

The Duchess of York also, reportedly, defended Prince Andrew in his recent challenges involving the case of the late Jeffrey Epstein. But, despite remaining "loyal" to each other, the former couple has seemingly confirmed that they are happy in the system that they currently have. So, it is unlikely that they will tie the knot again, as per reports.
