Queen Elizabeth II's third eldest grandchild, Prince William, had been married for almost a decade now. He just recently celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary with his wife, Kate Middleton.

In the nine years of married life, they have been blessed with three kids. The whole family is now staying inside Anmer Hall amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Prior to the married and family life, reports revealed that the Queen Elizabeth II, alongside her husband, Prince Philip, kept a list of "potential brides" for the future King of the United Kingdom, Prince William. As stated, the women in this alleged list all belong in the "elite" class, according to Express UK.

Royal expert and author, Robert Jobson wrote in his 2006 book, William's Princess, that some of these "aristocratic women" include Camilla's niece, Emma Parker Bowles, Jonathan Aitken's daughter, Victoria Aitken, and Alexandra Knatchbull. He then explained that it is not "coincidence" that Alexandra was included considering that she is the great-great-granddaughter of Earl Mountbatten. Not to mention, she is also the great-grandniece of Amanda Knatchbull, who the Earl once hoped for Prince Charles to marry.

Despite having the list, it was Kate Middleton who reportedly caught Prince William's attention. She broke the "mould," the royal author added.

Robert Jobson then went on to state, however, that the now-Duchess of Cambridge did not "fit the bill." He explained that although Kate had a "financially comfortable" background, she was not like the others who have "moneyed background." Even so, "she was different," which was likely the reason why she caught the royal born-Prince's eye, he said.

The Evening Standard reported that before Kate Middleton, the young Duke of Cambridge also dated other women. However, these individuals were not the ones on the alleged list made by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

In the late 1990s, it was reported that Prince William was spotted with Davina Duckworth-Chad. Sources even, reportedly, said that they were both seen together on a cruise in Aegan Sea.

A year prior to this, however, it was said that the future British Monarch met Jecca Craig during a brief trip to Kenya. While the two did not technically date each other, the royal Prince was said to have had a huge crush on her that time.

In college, while being friends with Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth II's grandson also, reportedly, dated a few women from the same university. Some of them include Carly Massy-Birch, Olivia Hunt, Rose Farquhar, and Isabella Calthorpe.
