The latest season of Netflix Original's The Crown dropped on the platform late last year. Throughout its course, fans and supporters of the show were able to witness several controversial events within the British Royal Family.

However, in the upcoming installments, there is one huge moment in the British Royals' lives that will not be included. As stated, it will not dramatize the time when Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles' private conversation got leaked before the public during their then-affair.

According to E! OnlineThe Crown's actor for the character of the Prince of Wales, Josh O'Connor was the one who revealed the show's decision to exclude the controversial moment. It was also stated that "he made sure" it would not be part of the series.

He said that when he received the offer for the role, the first thing he told them was that they will not do the "tampon phone call." As cleared out, the whole controversial leaked conversation between the royals has been referred to as "Tampongate" or "Camillagate" since its emergence.

The actor continued to share that his role on The Crown as the young Prince Charles was his "one chance" for his parents to see him on-screen "with no shame." This won't be "scuttled" by "talking tampons" on the streaming giant, he added.

As recalled by Her, the infamous call made headlines in 1993, just after Prince Charles and Princess Diana's official separation. The call was "secretly recorded" in 1989, during which time the Wales couple was still married.

In the conversation, the Prince of Wales told Camilla, who was also married at that time to Andrew Parker Bowles, that things would be "easier" if he could "live insider her trousers." The now-Duchess of Cornwall responded by asking if he would turn into a "pair of knickers." But, the royal born-Prince said that he would be a "Tampax."

While the heads of Netflix's The Crown have remained silent about the details of Season 4, many fans are reportedly convinced that this controversial event in the early 1990s will not be included. Also, another controversial moment in the lives of the royals that the show will unlikely cover is the recent Megxit, according to BBC.

Executive producer, Suzanne Mackie reportedly said that the show's run will not reach the present day. This is why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's life pre and post royal will not be witnesses on the Netflix show.
