Jude Bellingham is one of the young stars that is being pursued by several teams. Chelsea FC was the last reported club in the lead for his services. But recent developments may have just catapulted Manchester United to the front for the service of the 16-year-old.

In a report from the Standard, it turns out that Bellingham visited the Carrington Training Base back in March and was impressed. He was able to meet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and former United manager Sir Alex Fergusson. Summing it all up, Bellingham was allegedly blown away.

Better yet, it seems the teenager was given an interesting pitch as well. Should he elect to move to Old Trafford this summer, Bellingham will get the chance to make the first-team. That seems to be the one that whipped up the 16-year-old's interest although it will not come easy. United is also bringing in two other teenagers in Joe Hugill and Marc Jurado, the Standard reported. Bellingham will need to be at his best to make the first team against these two recruits plus others currently with the team.

The transfer fee for Bellingham is at £30 million. Given the financial difficulties that most teams are facing, it will be interesting if the Red Devils will settle that and take the 16-year-old in. But of course, United is unlikely to go to the trouble if Bellingham is not committed to moving to Old Trafford. That should be something worth thinking about moving forward.

The thing with Bellingham is he does have offers. Aside from Manchester United and Chelsea FC, Dortmund Borussia is another team hot on his trail. Both teams are still pursuing Bellingham but the teen is likely to go to a team where he has a brighter future and fits in.

Speaking of fitting in, it was a concern recently aired by Frank Sinclair who formerly played for the Blues. For him, it would be best for Bellingham to consider a team where he will be used and improve at the same time. At 16, there is no denying that Bellingham could still improve his game with the right guidance.

“So, if he is going to move on from Birmingham and kick on at a higher level, it is really important that he goes to a club where he can play week in, week out as that’s the only way he’ll improve and fulfill the potential that he’s got," Sinclair said.

Frank Lampard has done wonders with the players in Chelsea. There is a reason why he is targeting Bellingham, obviously to mold him into a better player while also giving him the chance to shine with the Blues.
