Many believe that Mehan Markle has a strong influence on Prince Harry. Some are even convinced that she is the brains behind their decision to quit royal life.
Back in January, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced that they will be stepping down as senior royals to focus more on their family and charities. The Duke of Sussex had been a member of the Royal Family all his life, so fans didn’t believe that he just suddenly decided to turn his back on being a royal in a blink of an eye, pointing the blame on the former actress.
Now, a new report revealed that Meghan Markle has “slightly Americanized” Prince Harry. US-born Julie Montagu, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke, who married Luke Timothy Charles Montagu, Viscount Hinchingbrooke, said that the Duchess of Sussex managed to transition her husband in less than two years.
"I think that Meghan has slightly Americanized Harry,” she said. “I love it.”
After their withdrawal announcement, Prince Harry and Meghan briefly stayed in Canada before heading to Los Angeles where they are currently residing with their son Archie. It is believed that the couple is set to make a fresh start in the US after their royal exit.
An earlier report revealed that Meghan Markle is starting to “feel like herself” again after quitting royal life. It seems like being back in Hollywood is giving the Duchess of Sussex a positive vibe.
“Harry and Meghan were really excited to move to LA,” an insider said. “The timing is tricky of course, but this is something they’ve been hoping for and seriously planning for several months now. They’ve been looking forward to [moving], and they’re very content and happy to finally be all settled in. And of course Meghan. Feels more at home too and she’s really starting to feel like herself.”
However, a previous report claimed that Meghan Markle is not too happy that their move to Los Angeles is not going well as planned. An insider said that the Duchess of Sussex is “heartbroken” that the coronavirus outbreak ruined her L.A. move plans to be closer to her mother Doria Ragland.
Meghan Markle’s mother lives just outside Los Angeles. Many believed that she is one of the main reasons why the Duke ad Duchess of Sussex chose to settle down in California to start their new life. However, the former actress couldn’t spend time with her mom due to the implemented lockdown.
