Zara Tindall spent her 39th birthday on May 15 at home due to the coronavirus lockdown. But instead of making her special day all about her, she paid tribute to the carers and frontliners fighting this crisis.

In a post on Instagram, Zara's husband, Mike Tindall, shared their photo together wearing matching rainbow shirts for the carers. He said that they are raising money for the NHS frontliners as the profits of sale of the shirt from an online store will go to charity.

According to People, the shirt cost $25 and may be bought at the eco-conscious Kindred site. The rainbow design is a show of support for the carers.

Apparently, a lot of school children have been drawing this for the doctors and nurses fighting against the virus and helping COVID-19 patients recover. Incidentally, Prince Louis, Zara's nephew from her cousin Prince William, also did a rainbow painting for his birthday on April 23.

Zara and Mike have been confined to their home at Gatcombe Park since the coronavirus lockdown in March with their daughters Mia, 6, and Lena, 1. But even while staying at home, the couple has been doing their part to contribute to fundraising efforts.

In April, Zara auctioned off a painting she did of her winning horse for the Equestrian Relief fundraiser, where she was able to raise $7,000. That same month, she and Mike joined her other cousin, Princess Eugenie, for the Run for Heroes cause. The whole initiative was able to raise $6 million for the NHS.

"Obviously, all of us are at home and those guys are out on the frontline, fighting this war," Zara said in an interview with Good Morning Britain. "We want to try and do something to help them, to support them."

Meanwhile, the Tindall family have been spending time outdoors at the estate of Princess Anne, Zara's mother, while in isolation. Mike joked that he has learned to tack up a horse as his wife goes horseback-riding. He also kidded that he's playing a lot of golf on his phone since much of the sporting sites are closed in the U.K.

It's unclear if the Tindalls have been visiting Princess Anne nearby since movements are limited and those in the age of 70 and above are supposed to be protected and isolated from other people. Princess Anne is set to celebrate her 70th birthday in August.
