It has been more than a month now since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially left their posts as senior members of the British Royal Family. On March 31, they have embarked on the new chapter of their lives outside the British Monarchy.

While their announcement earlier this year became a shocking moment, royal experts claimed that their decision was not surprising. What really shocked the public was reportedly the "speed" of their movements since their arrival to the Firm as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In an interview with the royal expert, Katie Nicholl, she shared that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a "hidden agenda" since the beginning of their royal lives. She then noted that the Sussex couple has always wanted to "achieve international fame," according to Express UK.

The expert continued to share that several sources already revealed this to her. She went on to assert that these sources are some of the royal born-Prince's friends, who met Meghan early on to their relationship.

As stated, they have always intended to become "international royals." They did not want to stay "in one place." So, their move to California has appeared to be "inevitable," Nicholl added.

She also reportedly specified some points on how these things became very apparent even before their actual exit. As highlighted, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to get married even just after a year of meeting each other. Months after, the Sussex couple wedded in 2018.

After the nuptials, they immediately announced their pregnancy, which then followed by Archie Harrison's birth in 2019. The expert said that their son's arrival became the "mark" of their desire to pursue a "much more private life."

Although they still went on to attend engagements and events, they ended up taking an official break from royal duties. But, weeks prior to their flight, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave a bombshell interview with Tom Bradby for ITV.

Through the interview, they seemingly confirmed that the royal Wales siblings have an ongoing rift. They also went on to share how their lives as royals have become a huge challenge.

Katie Nicholl also said that the couple's absence in Sandringham during the holidays had become a huge tell of their plans. By January, just after a few days of their return, they already announced that they intend to step down as senior royals.

While their announcement became a controversial matter, Queen Elizabeth II had wished them well. They have since relocated to the United States after staying in Canada for weeks.
