Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to launch their highly anticipated tell-all book called “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.” Although the biography has yet to be released in August, it has already garnered a lot of criticisms.

Now, a new report claims that Buckingham Palace is branding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all book “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” as a “soap opera.” Soap operas are radio or television series, which are known for their sentimental and melodramatic episodes.

A source shared with the Sunday Times that "It was a soap opera." The insider also added that the Royal Family has so many books written about them, so Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s biography is not something that would shock them anymore as they are allegedly “used to it.”

Royal expert Omid Scobie shared that he has been secretly working on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all book “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” for two years. He and Carolyn Durand authored the much-awaited biography, which will detail from the romance and marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, down to their split from the Royal Family.

The publisher of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all book “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” also claimed that it will dispel “many rumors and misconceptions which have plagued the couple on both sides of the pond."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been constantly dealing with public scrutiny since the moment they said their “I dos” back in 2018. But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to have taken all the criticisms well as they continued to complete their royal duties effectively.

Although it was no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a love-hate relationship with the media, nobody was prepared when the couple announced early this year that they will be stepping down from their senior royal roles to have a “peaceful life.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially finished their final royal engagements in March and headed to Los Angeles, where they are currently residing with their son Archie.
