Snowpiercer episode 2 is coming later this week on TNT, with the title "Prepare to Brace." The premiere of the freshman series proved to be interesting and things get even more intense in this week's episode. Almost every character deals with a lot of pressure, murder, as well as the frozen earth.

In Snowpiercer episode 2, Layton will be using his position as the new train detective. He'll try to investigate a murder case while also gathering intel for the revolution at the same time. Melanie, on the other hand, is facing a resource crisis that could have drastic consequences for the entire train.

The premiere episode delivered significant stories for what lies ahead. Layton agreed to work for the upper-class people, but they don't realize he's actually loyal to his people. He also made sure he'll get all the crucial information so his people could start an ultimate revolution.

The closing minutes of the first episode saw Layton vowing to his men he would not help the upper-class to betray them. He's only helping them for the benefit of his own people so that they could plan a robust and well-planned revolution.

While his men agreed to comply with him, they may likely question his methods and will confront him why he decided to work for the upper-class. There could be a potential conflict between Layton and his men, especially since these people think he gets the benefit they could only dream of.

This could also threaten his role as a leader unless he proves himself and loyalty to them. Now, it's interesting to see how it progresses. Snowpiercer episode 2 will focus on Layton's investigation, which could lead him to uncover some dark secrets of the upper-class.

The series is based on the 2013 South Korean-Czech movie of the same name directed by South Korean director Bong Joon-ho. Just like the film, there's a chance that getting Layton involved with the upper class may have something to do with Wilford's ultimate scheme.

Snowpiercer stars Daveed Diggs as Andre Layton, Jennifer Connelly as Melanie Cavill, Mickey Sumner as Bess Till, Alison Wright as Lilah Anderson, Iddo Goldberg as Bennett, Susan Park as Jinju, Sam Otto as John "Oz" Osweiller, Sheila Vand as Zarah, Annalise Basso as L.J. Folger, and Jaylin Fletcher as Miles.

Snowpiercer episode 2 airs on Sunday night, May 24, on TNT.
