As President Donald Trump ordered the re-opening of the United States, the fears for the second wave of COVID-19 are rising. But, despite the risks and possibility of experiencing a surge in the numbers of positive coronavirus cases and even deaths, the President has no plans to close the country again.

Experts believe that there can be a second wave of COVID-19 in the country later this year. With the easing of the states' lockdown and people starting going out again, this is not far from happening.

As the 2020 election is nearly coming, some believe that Donald Trump will never hurt his chance against the Democratic nominee Joe Biden, Celebrity Insider noted. This is even if the COVID-19 pandemic nearly caused 100,000 deaths in the U.S., 1.7 million positive cases, and over 36 million unemployed Americans.

Sadly, a second wave can make this matter worse. However, although Melania Trump's husband knows the possibility of it, he has no plans to close the country again. He said the economy's re-opening is the standard, and they are going to "put out the fire whether it is an ember or a flame" but never to close the U.S. again.

So, experts cannot help but fear about will happen to the country at the end of this year, according to Vanity Fair. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, believes the second wave of COVID-19 can be far worse than the first one.

The effect of the disease next winter can be far more complicated than what the U.S. just went through. Sadly, when Redfield told this matter to others, they just put their head back, not trying to understand what he is saying. By the end of 2020, he warned that the country might face a flu epidemic and coronavirus epidemic at the same time.

Although the country still wrestles with the COVID-19 pandemic, Donald Trump has already declared victory against it. So, health experts believe it can lead to a spike in infections, just like what happened in March.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said it could trigger an outbreak they might not be able to control. The POTUS's decision could lead to more suffering and deaths that they could have avoided.

Fauci added that relaxing social distancing guidelines too soon could not only lead to more deaths but a set back on their effort to help the economy recover. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is not trying to hear what Fauci has to say, insisting that the U.S. has to get back despite the risk of the second wave of the coronavirus outbreak.
