V always considers ARMYs as his friends. And just like any regular pals, the BTS star turned to their fans when he wanted something done.

Last August, V took to Weverse to request talented ARMYs to draw him as a Simpson character and promised to frame it. What made the BTS star’s request endearing is the fact that he was very polite and even said that if only ARMYs have time for it.

“Can you draw me as a Simpson? I want to frame it,” he wrote. “I want to see a V Simpson and a Tannie Simpson too. ARMYs who are good at drawing, if you have time, just once.”

As expected, ARMYs began to flood Twitter, Weverse, and other social media platforms with their fan art of V as a Simpson character. V was so thrilled with the entries and said: “That’s what I want!!!”

But then, this topic appeared to have died down as it was not talked about as much anymore in the coming months. In fact, ARMYs may have already forgotten about V’s request and so did the BTS star — or so it seemed.

On May 25, V posted a photo on Twitter of him sitting on a couch while looking at a huge painting of himself as a Simpson character. The BTS star then captioned it, “ARMY painted me.” It was a version of his BTS Map of The Soul: Persona Ver 3 Member Poster.

As it turned out, V has not forgotten about his request at all. And for one lucky ARMY, they now have the bragging rights to say that V didn’t only choose their painting and have it framed on his wall, the BTS star even shared it on social media for the whole world to see.

It makes a lot of sense why V chose this particular painting, as it captured the aura of the BTS star while maintaining the authenticity of a Simpson character. However, ARMYs are having a hard time focusing on which piece of art they should look at.

“I can see two masterpieces,” one wrote, referring to the painting and V. “The art admiring the art,” another one shared.

Many were also happy that V finally found what he was searching for since last year. And basing V's expression on the photo, he seemed to be very pleased with the painting.

V’s post already has 1.9 million likes and over 600 retweets as of this writing.
