Gaming studio Quantic Dreams recently announced that it is taking a massive leap as three of its major games are going multiplatform. These are "Detroit: Become Human, "Beyond: Two Souls," and "Heavy Rain." The studio also confirmed that it is working on many exciting new projects.

Three Major Titles On Steam

Quantic Dreams games like "Beyond: Two Souls" and "Detroit: Become Human" have been available for PC gamers for a while but only on Epic Games Store. The game publisher recently announced that beginning Jun 18, 2020, fans could enjoy all of its major games on Steam. Each game already has a Steam page, and fans could get their hands on the demos right now.

A leaked database listing a few days ago already revealed the Steam version of "Beyond: Two Souls." It was in mid-Jun 2019 when "Detroit: Become Human" and "Beyond: Two Souls" were launched on the Epic Games Store. Quantic Dreams remained true to its word that it would be exclusive on EPS for a year.

Before the announcement, Quantic Dreams appeared to be preparing for the availability of these titles on Steam. It hosted its own live streams and launched a Twitch extension app for its title "Detroit: Become Human." The streaming activity allowed gamers to vote for in-game choices, an avenue that enabled games from Quantic Dreams to earn their popularity.

Exciting New Projects

On May 25, 2020, Quantic Dreams held a livestream on its new Twitch channel where top execs David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière discussed the future of the gaming studio. Although both did not announce any new game on the table, they seemingly teased about new exciting projects the gaming studio is currently working on. Cage mentioned that Quantic Dreams is currently working on new projects that he could not disclose yet.

He added that a lot is going on at Quantic Dreams but later said that details about these new projects would be shared soon. Meanwhile, de Fondaumière revealed that an experienced and highly passionate team would handle all future games released by the gaming studio. It seems that many things are happening at Quantic Dreams.

The gaming studio recently had its headquarters expanded and renovated. The team now has larger space, new motion capture (MoCap) stage, a large area for relaxing, and a new sound studio. With the current global health crisis, people at Quantic Dreams are working from home. Quantic Dreams also launched an online shop for its games and merchandise.
