Ong Seong Wu recently opened up about how filming his first drama At Eighteen changed his views on love.

The former WANNA One member, who debuted as a lead actor in the teen drama, said that because the story told a tale about first love and the pressures experienced by the youth surrounding family and school life, he questioned whether he became anyone's first love.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, Ong Seong Wu said that he wanted to experience being someone's first love and to be the reason that someone feels something new for the first time.

Ong Seong Wu impressed with his portrayal of an awkward newcomer in his new school and his constant battle against his ill-deserved bad reputation because of his family's poverty. In the drama, his character fell in love with Kim Hyang Gi's character, a nice girl who faced tremendous pressure to meet the expectations of her single mother.
