Agents of SHIELD season 7 serves as the final installment of the ABC series, so prepare for several surprises along the way. The premiere also features some guest appearances, including Patton Oswalt and Darren Barnet. Agent Carter alum Enver Gjokaj is also set to appear in the series finale.
Yet, those aren't just the big surprises coming as Agents of SHIELD season 7 will bring more surprise appearances. In an interview with TVLine, Chloe Bennet, who plays Daisy Johnson, talks about this particular subject and that surprise appearance won't happen in a single episode.
Bennet told the outlet that the writers do a good job of balancing out everything and giving a satisfying ending for the characters, the actors, and fans. She then teased there would be a few people appearing in the series finale, which could make fans even more excited.
Oswalt returns, while Gjokaj reprises his Daniel Sousa role in Agent Carter. Many were delighted to see their appearance in Agents of SHIELD season 7. What's exciting here is that there will be more surprises beyond that, with Bennet noting "it's a rewarding season from the fans."
CarterMatt noted Marvel tends to keep secrets, so this wouldn't be surprising for the final installment. Since this is the series' final run, the surprise appearances are possibly big and they may arrive without any warning in advance.
When it comes to her character, Bennet said the Daisy in the finale installment is different as she's a perfect hybrid of all the versions we've seen of her. She has played different versions of her character over the past seasons, and in the final installment, we're going to see further changes.
What's also interesting here is what will happen to the LMD version of Coulson. It seems like it's much more like the original version than Sarge. So the question here is: how will Daisy react to someone like him? This is an interesting storyline that should be further tackled.
The series finale will deliver a satisfying ending and may tie all the loose ends hanging since the beginning. It would bring a complete story, as well as a fitting ending for the characters. And while Bennet didn't tease about the final episode, she said they did a beautiful job.
