Blindspot season 5 episode 5 is arriving within a few weeks on NBC, with the title "Head Games." This is an interesting ant intense episode as we're going to see some of the characters' lives on the line. Jane, in particular, is in serious danger.
In Blindspot season 5 episode 5, Jane was shot while Weller has been kidnapped. It's clear that both characters are in peril, and hopefully, their situation wouldn't be similar to what happened to Reade in the premiere episode.
What the team needs to do now is to get these two out in danger before things get even more complicated. They need to save both Jane and Weller's lives, but at the same time, they should also maintain the secrecy of their hidden base.
But although Jane's life is on the line and she's in grave danger, it's apparent the character would make it out alive in the end. After all, Jaimie Alexander's character is the forefront of the NBC series, so the network wouldn't want to write off its major character -- especially in the series finale.
Blindspot season 5 episode 5 also sees Weller being haunted by some dark ghosts from Blindspot's past. This particular storyline may bring some familiar faces and it seems like these people are after him and he's not happy to see them haunting him.
Meanwhile, no new episodes of Blindspot aired last week on NBC, so the series is set to return this Thursday with episode 3. Titled "Existential Ennui," Weitz is in a tight spot and his loyalty will be tested. He's been in the middle most of the time, but he needs to choose which side he wants to join now.
Weitz needs to make a wise decision since one wrong move could already put him in a dangerous position. The synopsis notes he was forced to play an intense game of psychological chess as Madeline Burke tries to assess his loyalty and potential mole at the FBI.
The episode also sees the team dealing with a proverbial monster after an op goes bad. They must do everything they can to take this monster down before it could take them down one by one. Clearly, this is a difficult and challenging mission for all of them.
