Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossiomo Guannulli are almost certain to serve jail time. It will be just a matter of how long it will be. Now, Loughlin is, allegedly, hoping that she will serve at a different time than Guannulli for the sake of their two children.

The couple earlier entered a guilty plea on the college admission scandal, more than a year after they denied their involvement in the case. A judge has yet to act on their plea agreement but the Fuller House actress is hoping that she and Mossimo will not be in jail at the same time.

Us Weekly cited a source as saying this is the couple's hope so that someone can be around to provide emotional support to their daughters Isabella, 21, and Olivia Jade, 20. Though they are both adults now, Lori is concerned for her kids well-being and she wants one parent to be with them to provide emotional support.

When Calls The Heart actress pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. Giannulli, on the other hand, entered a guilty plea to the same charges, and to honest services wire and mail fraud.

Under their plea agreement, the actress would be in jail for two months. Loughlin would also be under two years of supervised release, will do 100 hours of community service, and pay a $150,000 fine. Giannulli, meanwhile, would be serving five months in prison, pay a $250,000 fine with two years of supervised release, and 250 hours of community service.

The judge said he will issue an official ruling after reviewing pre-sentencing reports. There have been reports that Loughlin is now preparing to be interviewed by the Bureau of Prisons for the pre-sentencing report. It will be given to the judge to be used as guidance for formal sentencing. The couple's official sentencing is set on August 21.

Loughlin, 55, and Giannulli, 56, were among the celebrities who got entangled in the college admission scandal last year. They, allegedly, pay half a million dollars to get their daughters to the University of Southern California as recruits on the school's rowing team despite the fact that Isabella and Olivia neither participated in the sport.

Another celeb parent who pleaded guilty in the case was Felicity Huffman. The Desperate Housewives actress served almost two weeks in prison. She admitted paying $15,000 to have someone correct her daughter's entrance exam answers.
