Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding was supposed to take place on May 29. But, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple had to postpone the special event, after it was moved a couple of times before due to Prince Andrew's scandalous connection to Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Megxit.

Despite that, to make her daughter more comfortable, Sarah Ferguson greeted her firstborn on Twitter. Prince Andrew's former wife acknowledged the day that her eldest child should have been married to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, saying she is looking forward to their upcoming wedding to push through finally.

The Duchess of York started her message with a heart-melting love for her darling princess, along with a sweet photo of her when she was a child. She then said that her 31-year-old eldest gave her more joy than she could ever wish for.

Although their wedding was once again canceled, the 60-year-old children's book author admitted she is excited to celebrate their special day when the lockdown is over. She also knew that her daughter was not the only bride whose wedding got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sarah Ferguson sent love to those couples whose wedding was disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak in the country. Although their plans were all canceled, they tried to make them feel better by saying that that the most important things were health and love, which she sent to everyone who was about to tie the knot during this challenging time.

On May 29, Princess Beatrice was supposed to exchange vows with her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Buckingham Palace even confirmed the event after it was canceled before. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was once again postponed.

Last month, it was revealed that the wedding would not push through again. According to Fox News, they were still reviewing their plans for the ceremony, which was supposed to take place at St. James Palace in London.

Allegedly, they were eyeing to have a private marriage that might be attended by only a small group of family and friends instead, followed by a lavish reception at Queen Elizabeth II's garden at Buckingham Palace.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's spokesperson told the publication that the two were looking forward to getting married, too. But, as they were both equally aware of the risk the COVID-19 brings, in line with the government's advice for the U.K. and beyond, they were reviewing their plans for their wedding.
