Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry were once dubbed as the “Royal Trio.” The future king, his wife, and younger brother were so close that the public enjoyed seeing them together in their royal engagements.
Unfortunately, things changed when Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle. The Cambridges and Sussexes started to have a great bond as well, even earring the title as the “Royal Fab Four,” but a rift between the couples quickly circulated when Prince Harry and Meghan removed themselves from the joint foundation with Prince William and Kate.
Now, Prince Harry cut ties with his brother and sister-in-law yet again. It was recently announced that Prince Harry will merge his Endeavour Fund charity, which was held under The Royal Foundation ran by Prince William and Kate Middleton, with his Invictus Games event.
The Endeavour Fund was first established by Prince Harry in 2012. At the time, he, Prince William, and Kate Middleton were patrons of The Royal Foundation. With the announcement of the merge, this means that the Duke of Sussex is now cutting further ties with the Cambridges.
As expected, fans who love the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry needed to blame someone for the fallout. Since the rift started when Meghan Markle joined the royal family, she was the easiest target.
A lot of royal fans believe that Meghan Markle should exert some effort into fitting in with the royal family and not the other way around. Some thought that the reason why the Duchess of Sussex is having a hard time building a relationship with the other members of the royal family is that she didn’t have a relationship with her own family.
Meghan Markle shared in the ITV documentary titled Harry & Meghan: An Africa Journey that she had a tough time dealing with all the hate that she was getting. "It's hard. I don't think anybody can understand that,” she said. “I know what it seems like it should be. It’s a very different thing. That’s okay.”
A report then claimed that Kate Middleton wants to reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to revive their bond before. After learning the Duchess of Sussex’s struggles after becoming a part of the royal family, the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly tried to help her. Royal expert Phil Dampier shared that Kate called Meghan up, and their conversation was successful.
