After stealing hearts of Kdrama fans with his memorable role in 2016's Scarlet Heart Ryeo, fans have been asking whether EXO's Baekhyun will ever take on another acting role.

During his recent guest appearance in SBS Power FM's Cultwo Show,  Baekhyun fielded questions about his preparations for his recent solo comeback Delight. He also interacted with fans who wanted to know whether he intended to return to acting after his first drama stint, Soompi reported.

It can be recalled that Baekhyun played the role of Prince Wang Eun in Scarlet Heart Ryeo, which top-billed Lee Jung Gi, IU, Kang Ha Neul, Nam Joo Hyuk, Ji Soo, and Hong Jong Hyun. He played one of the princes in the alternate universe that IU's character was plunged into.

In the drama, Baekhyun earned a lot of praise for his unique charm that he infused on his character. He admitted that even though his character was not supposed to be the youngest prince, the playfulness of Prince Wang Eun made him seem childish. Fans were even more impressed when he pulled off one of the memorable dramatic moments in the series flawlessly.

Baekhyun said he had a lot of fun with his first acting role but admitted that it would be very difficult for him to take on another offer because he had very little time to spare for additional projects. He raised the fans' hopes, however, when he said he might be able to act when he's over 30 years old.

The EXO vocalist has plenty on his plate because apart from solo promotions, he is also a member of both EXO and SuperM, a composite group made up of members of EXO, SHINEE, NCT, and WayV.  He was also voted as the leader of the newly formed group.

Fans are also expecting Baekhyun to be the second EXO member to enlist this year after Suho reported for military training last month. '91 and '92 liners of EXO, including Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol are rumored to enlist this year as members are focused on individual promotions and projects.

In another radio interview, Baekhyun admitted that he was overwhelmed and thankful for the support of EXO-Ls for his solo comeback. His mini-album topped weekly sites by selling 700,000 within its first week.

Baekhyun said that he was grateful for the fans who bought the album and supported EXO's music even though he told them not to spend too much on their albums. He said he was constantly amazed by the fans' loyalty and love but asked them not to feel obligated to buy their albums and to focus on their needs first before using the leftovers to buy the albums, Soompi reported.
