Amid all the complaints on how President Donald Trump handles the ire caused by George Floyd's tragic death, there is one from the family who stands for African American people. Tiffany Trump, the President's daughter, joined the Blackout Tuesday trend and made a tweet, asking justice for Floyd.
Tiffany Trump tweeted a quote by Helen Killer, saying that people could achieve so much when together. She also used the hashtags, Blackout Tuesday and Justice for George Floyd.
The 26-year-old socialite was the only one from the family who supported the move and made a post about it on social media. Not even the prominent Republican figures bravely said anything about it, according to Forbes.

Some called out the POTUS's child with Marla Maples, pointing out that her father was repeatedly calling for violence against protesters. He was also continuously earning criticisms for his lack of support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
At the time Tiffany Trump shared her post, Donald Trump asked the New York City to call up the National Guard. He even said that the "lowlifes and losers" were ripping the state apart.
NYC, CALL UP THE NATIONAL GUARD. The lowlifes and losers are ripping you apart. Act fast! Don’t make the same horrible and deadly mistake you made with the Nursing Homes!!! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 2, 2020
As expected, her tweet was filled wiht a lot of comments, negative and positive alike. According to Celebrity Insider, her dad's supporters dragged her for supporting Blackout Tuesday.
The left, alternatively, slammed her for not doing anything to persuade Melania Trump's husband in the right direction. Others accused her of only pretending.
However, some also appreciated what Tiffany Trump did. One commenter saw the good in her post, saying, at least, one Trump showed compassion and cared for people.
The music industry started the Blackout Tuesday movement. It aimed to stop business operations for a short while as a sign of support to the protesters and show that the industry has been earning from and without giving back to the black culture and communities.
The move has received a huge support from social media, with about 18.5 million uses of the hashtag #blackouttuesday. Social media users used black tiles as a replacement to their usual colorful profile pictures.
However, it also met criticisms by some activists, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who claimed that it silenced the important conversations by the embezzlement of the hashtag #blacklivesmatter. She also said that it "lacked meaningful action."
Meanwhile, Tiffany Trump recently graduated from Georgetown Law School in May. Unlike her other half-siblings, Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric Trump, she has no position in the White House or Trump administration.
