After news of AB6IX Lim Young Min's drunk driving incident, Brand New Music announced that the group's comeback will be delayed to June 29. Young Min will also go on hiatus to reflect on his actions.

According to a report by Kpopmap, AB6IX's scheduled comeback for June 8 will be postponed to June 29 after Lim Young Min was arrested for drunk driving by police officers in the early morning hours of May 31.Brand New Music announced that the artist sincerely regrets his actions and plans to cooperate fully with the police investigation on the matter.

The label further stated that Young Min's license has been revoked by authorities as a result of the incident.In the wake of the issue, AB6IX will be promoting for their comeback album with only four members as Young Min is sidelined by the label from group activities for the meantime.

In a handwritten letter posted on AB6IX's fan cafe, Lim Young Min took responsibility for his actions and apologized profusely to everyone who was affected by his lapse in judgment.

Young Min apologized to his label, his members, the staff, and crew for causing a disruption in AB6IX's comeback after everyone worked so hard to make it successful.He also apologized to fans for causing disappointment.

He said he felt ashamed that even though he was AB6IX's oldest member, he was the one to cause grief to the members.He berated himself for his foolish and irresponsible actions and said he will accept all of the criticism for the aftermath of his behavior.

He also assured that he will use his time in hiatus to reflect on his behavior.While fans lauded Brand New Music for imposing a sanction against their artist and not condoning his mistake, they expressed hope that Young Min will come out of the experience as a more mature and responsible role model.

Meanwhile, AB6IX will promote its comeback album VIVID, with the title track entitled The Answer which was written and composed by Zico on June 29.

Fans expressed excitement in listening to Red Up which was partly written and composed by Lee Dae Hwi. Lim Young Min and Park Woo also did their fair share in writing the lyrics for Red Up, Vivid, Surreal, and Midnight Blue.

In related news, Lim Young Min will be edited out of Mnet's Good Girl for the upcoming appearance of AB6IX in the show. The network made the decision so that Young Min's recent actions do not inflict damage to other artists.
