Selena Gomez doesn't just want to post messages of support to the Black Lives Matter movement. She wants to share the cause straight from the directly affected people themselves.

Gomez announced that in the coming days, she will be opening her Instagram account to black leaders, experts, and influencers to speak directly to the public and share their insight about the important issues in society today. The Rare singer said she has been finding ways to use her social media accounts in helping the Black Lives Matter movement and the protesters who are demonstrating across the country against racism and police violence.

Selena stressed that all have an obligation to do better and they can start it together by listening with others' views with an open heart and mind. She also posted a powerful painting titled "Speak With Confidence" by Charly Palmer along with her message to her 178 million followers on IG.

Gomez also shared on her Instagram Story some petitions in support of the BLM movement as well as a post from former President Barack Obama offering advice on how to keep the Black Lives Matter movement alive. She also shared resources about elections and on how to vote.

Though the singer/actress did not post a black square to her Instagram on Black Out Tuesday, her beauty company, Rare Beauty, did it for her. Moreover, the 27-year-old singer also blacked out her official website, selenagomez.com.

Fans who visited the site were greeted with a message from the singer urging them to reflect on how they can all come together and start a change in what she called "broken society." She also called out the global network IG account of the Black Lives Matter movement, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), When We All Vote, Color of Change, and Black Future Lab.

The "Lose You to Love Me" songstress is one of the celebrities who have shown support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Since protests erupted in several cities in the U.S., many celebrities have expressed their disappointment with how the government handled the crisis.

Many of them raise awareness about the plight of the black communities in America. Some joined the protests while others donated for the cause. Other singers who shared the call for change were Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Shawn Mendez, Perrie Edwards, Niall Horan, Lizzo, Halsey, and more.
