As Queen Elizabeth II issues an official statement to mark the end of Volunteers' Week in the United Kingdom, a new photo of Prince William and his two eldest kids emerged. The Duke of Cambridge, along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, showed their act of volunteerism in Sandringham, as they delivered food to the elderly.

The photos were, reportedly, captured by Kate Middleton herself and shared on Kensington Royal's social media pages. In the lengthy caption, the royal couple said the Cambridges played their own part in the "national volunteering effort" as they also celebrated the end of Volunteers' Week.

At the time, the Cambridge family spent the afternoon making fresh pasta and filling several bags with food packages to give to the elderly and vulnerable people living near their area. In the sweet image, the future king and his two kids were walking toward a house, while the doting dad while holding a huge umbrella to keep them safe from the rain.

In addition, they also helped to pack up a van. They spend about two and a half hours delivering food to the needy.

The newly shared snaps were believed to be captured on the same day that Princess Charlottes' birthday photos were taken, judging from the same dress she was wearing and the bag of pasta she was holding. Despite her young age, she was already helping to put the food packages into the boxes and giving food to every home.

 

Queen Elizabeth also marked the occasion with a very important message about helping other people. In a tweet on The Royal Family account, Her Majesty talked about generosity and kindness.

As the Volunteers' Week ended, she said that it was inspiring to reflect on the acts of generosity and kindness of thousands of people, who achieved a lot for the greater good. She also revealed that she had been following how people around the world, including the members of the royal family, were helping and recognizing the role of a volunteer. So, she gave all her best wishes to those who freely and selflessly gave themselves to help others.

Meanwhile, Prince William recently confirmed that he had been volunteering at a crisis text line in the U.K. to help people in need. The second in line to the throne revealed his secret during a video chat to also celebrate Volunteers' Week.

At the time, Prince William and Kate Middleton appeared on a video call to talk to the volunteers across the U.K. They shared a snap of it on their Instagram account, where they revealed that the father-of-three had been volunteering for the first 24/7 crisis text line in the country, Shout85258.
