Jimin, V, and Jungkook are part of the Maknae Line of BTS and they are expected to be the closest ones in the group. Although all of the boys have a special bond with one another, no one could beat VMin.
In fact, Jimin and V consider themselves as soulmates. And since soulmates are a level higher than best friends, they don’t only finish each other’s sentences, but they have a world of their own. Unfortunately for the remaining member of the Maknae Line, Jungkook, he seems to be just living in VMin’s world.
In Bon Voyage Season 4 Episode 8, Jimin and V proved their soulmate status once again. Since BTS’ main chefs Jin and Suga went back home late after a failed fishing trip with Jungkook, the 95-liners decided to take over and prepare their dinner.
While cutting some ingredients, V played a song from his phone as their background music for the cooking session. All Jimin had to do was call V’s name and he knew exactly what his soulmate meant. (Watch the clip here).
All of a sudden, Jimin and V pretended to be in a K-drama and instantly threw some lines. “Where are we?” V asked. “It’s what you’ve always heard of. A fantasy world,” Jimin replied. As the wide-eyed V looked around in awe, Jimin continued, “Let’s conquer this new world together.”
VMin then pretended to be cutting something, that’s when Jungkook arrived in full confusion. (Watch the clip here). But despite the golden maknae being there, V and Jimin continued with their fantasy K-drama.
“Ah! I found some peels,” V said. “We can sell them and become rich! Let’s go Taehyung!” Jimin added. Jungkook stood there for a few seconds and left. VMin then started running in place while laughing.
When Jungkook returned to the kitchen, he asked VMin, “What are you doing?” But Jimin, still with his “actor voice,” told him to go rest. However, the golden maknae ignored him and asked about the cucumber that he was cutting.
V answered that it was for bibimmyeon and Jungkook was confused about why Jimin was cutting it differently. That’s when V protected his soulmate and co-actor by telling Jungkook to go away. When Jungkook left, V then told Jimin that he “got rid of the intruder.” VMin shook hands and that was a wrap.
Jimin and V always proudly flaunt their soulmate status. However, Suga threw them under the bus when he told James Corden that they are the two BTS members who argue a lot.
