The now-viral video of Donald Trump asking Melania Trump to please smile, reportedly, ignited old rumors. As the incident seemed to show that something was not right between the presidential couple, a body language expert revealed that the First Lady of the United States had yet to fully embrace his roles as the FLOTUS, although she seemed to gradually do so.

Darren Stanton suggested that Melania Trump had yet to completely "embrace" her role as the wife of her President-husband, Donald Trump. Although she was no stranger to have the attention of everyone, working as a former model, her current role in the public eye drastically changed when Donald won the 2016 presidential election.

As the wife of the 45th President, her official role is to be the White House's host. The former First Ladies hosted different events at the president's official residence and workplace. This includes state dinners and holiday celebrations.

The FLOTUS also has to support campaigns that are of most importance to them. So, the businesswoman chose Be Best as her initiative, which tackles the children's wellbeing. She also usually holds events and gives her voice to important causes.

Despite her efforts, Stanton revealed that Melania Trump has yet to fully accept her role as the First Lady. He told Express it was cleared from the very beginning that this was a role that she might never embrace.

In her four years in the White House, Stanton said that she sometimes openly showed signs of "disdain and contempt." However, he explained that she might only be unsure of what to do from the start. Now, the mother-of-one seemed to relax.

Stanton claimed that Melania Trump is now showing signs of genuine happiness as the years pass by. However, he also admitted that she is not the type who could fake her smiles.

The claime proved to be true when Melania Trump seemed to fake her smile during a photo opportunity at Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington D.C. with Donald Trump. Hence, it could not be helped to ignite old rumors. The former television personality turned to his wife and asked her if she could "please smile."

Although she granted his request, it was an overly awkward smile--half frowning, half smiling. ABC reporter Louise Milligan said, via News.com.au, that although the camera could sometimes lie, she watched the clip, which has now gone viral, over and over again to see what it really meant.

From here, she noticed that something is "mesmerizingly worrying" about Melania Trump's face in the video. However, some found it funny, saying it was hard to imagine reminding a professional model to smile for the camera.
