Ryan Seacrest is rumored to have finally got down on his knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend Shayna Taylor. The American Idol host allegedly finally realized Taylor is the right woman for him.
According to OK! Magazine, Seacrest has decided to take his romance with Taylor to the next level because they feel that their relationship is already on the "solid" ground. A source of the tabloid claimed Ryan has realized that the 28-year-old chef is the right woman for him after they split in February 2019. The 45-year-old TV/radio host apparently considered it a miracle that Shayna took him back.
However, the insider claimed the couple wants to keep the good news to them in the meantime. Ryan and Shayna are reportedly planning a big wedding with their family and friends. They are also allegedly eyeing for an early 2021 wedding.
Gossip Cop clarified the rumor to a source close to Seacrest, who dismissed the new speculation that the host proposed to the wellness influencer. The outlet added that it is unlikely that Seacrest would keep his engagement a secret as he has shared a lot about his personal life on his show, Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Gossip Cop also noted that earlier this year, the same tabloid claimed that Seacrest was planning to propose to Taylor on Valentine's Day. But months have passed, the couple hasn't announced an engagement.
Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor have been in an on-and-off relationship since they first met in 2013. The pair share Seacrest's apartment in Manhattan.
Meanwhile, Closer Weekly reported that Taylor is willing to follow Seacrest in Los Angeles if he decides to permanently move back to the city from New York City. A source told the publication that Ryan has nothing against NYC but he feels that he is healthier in L.A. Shayna would be happy to support her boyfriend wherever he sets up his home base and when he thinks would be good for him.
For the past months, Ryan has been broadcasting all his shows from his L.A. home. It can be recalled that Seacrest gave his fans a scare when he was thought to have a neurological episode during the American Idol finale last month after appearing with one eye half-closed and speaking in slurred words.
The TV personality assured his fans that he did not have a stroke. He also explained that he took a day off in Live With Kelly and Ryan because of exhaustion and nothing else.
