Prince Charles is praising school teachers in the U.K., especially for their efforts during this coronavirus crisis. The Prince of Wales said that the teachers have gone beyond their duties to help families who have to do homeschooling during the pandemic.

In a video message for Teacher First, Prince Charles commended the teachers for finding ways to make sure that students will still be able to receive their lessons despite an abnormal school season. He said that some schools and their educators have gone beyond what is expected for their students, especially for those whose families who do not have the resources to do remote homeschooling.

The heir to the throne is the patron Teacher First, whose work is to support schools and deliver education in the poorest areas of the U.K. More than that, Teacher First ensures that there improved results to their efforts, which the Prince of Wales believe would be vital to the country's recovery from this public health crisis.

Prince Charles said that teachers will once again be needed when schools resume classes and reopen their classrooms. It is the job of the teachers to help the children get back on track with their lessons and learning.

It comes as Princess Charlotte and Prince George, the grandchildren of Prince Charles, have not likely gone back to their in-person classes despite the reopening of schools on June 1. Sources said that Kate Middleton and Prince William have opted to continue with homeschooling their children at Anmer Hall, where they have been staying since the coronavirus lockdown in mid-March.

According to reports, Prince William and Kate want their children together as this pandemic crisis continues. Thus, they are foregoing the government guidelines to send kids back to school despite admitting initially that homeschooling has been quite an adjustment. However, majority of parents in the U.K. are also doing the same and opting to let the children stay at home for their own health and safety. Apparently, more than half of the parents have not sent their kids to restart their classes as concerns about the virus spread are still ever present without any vaccine ready.

Fortunately, Kate said that her kids' school, the Thomas's Battersea in London, have such a solid support system so they can rely on help if they ran into problems with the lessons. The Cambridge family are able to also follow a structure at home, which Kate believes is helping the children stick with their homeschooling routines.
