Snowpiercer episode 5 is set to arrive this week on TNT, with the title "Justice Never Boarded." Things get even more intense within this episode, especially since the full-on war with the trial is getting closer. Melanie, in particular, will be the center of almost everything in this week's episode.

Class conflict is one of the major themes of the series, and we're going to see this playing out in Snowpiercer episode 5. The upper-class people live comfortably and get all the benefits, but this won't be the case now. It's apparent that some things are starting to move in a different direction.

According to the synopsis, Melanie stages the trial for the Snowpiercer's killer. However, this wouldn't be easy for her as tensions between the First Class and the Third Class are boiling. The latter threatens a work stoppage and demands representation on the jury.

Because of this, Melanie will be forced to make a fateful decision; she has to choose which side to favor. Throughout Snowpiercer episode 5, we're going to see Melanie trying to manage the situation in a very different way. It's clear that she's making a difficult choice, but she also recognized she needs to make a choice.

What's interesting about this series is that it keeps on delivering more interesting stories as it progresses. As per CarterMatt, the ratings of the first two episodes were a big drop-off, but the series managed to find its way in the third episode and improved the numbers.

Also, there's no need to worry about its future as TNT has already renewed Snowpiercer for a second season. Reportedly, filming of the upcoming installment was already done before the global health crisis hits the globe. Yet, there could still be a potential delay as the post-production process may have been affected.

As for who's returning in season 2, lead stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs are returning -- reprising their roles Melanie Cavill and Andre Layton, respectively. Rowan Blanchard and Steven Ogg have been, reportedly, promoted as series regulars, while Sean Bean also joins the cast as a series regular.

Other returning cast members in the second installment include Alison Wright, Jaylin Fletcher, Mickey Sumner, Sheila Vand, Susan Park, Roberto Urbina, Iddo Goldberg, Sam Otto, Katie McGuinness, Annalise Basso, as well as Lena Hall.

Snowpiercer episode 5 airs on Sunday night, June 14, on TNT.
