Ryan Seacrest took a day off last month to take a rest after working non-stop for years but it sparked more speculations about the host's health. A new claim from a tabloid indicated that the TV/radio host is suffering from an incurable disease.

From its previous claim that Seacrest may go blind because of Botox injection, now the National Enquirer is alleging Seacrest is suffering from "incurable disease." The tabloid quoted a source as saying, Ryan has myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome. This allegedly makes the American Idol host weak and having a hard time getting out of bed.

According to the National Enquirer, Seacrest's "incurable disease" has been affecting not only him but also his co-workers. The TV personality's co-workers and staff were reportedly in a panic of the possibility that Ryan would cut back on his work and he might consider settling down in one place with girlfriend Shayna Taylor because of his supposed illness.

At the moment, the Emmy-winning host is filming and remotely broadcasting his shows from his home in Los Angeles. Before the coronavirus pandemic, Ryan has been splitting his time in L.A. and New York City when he hosts Live with Ryan and Kelly with Kelly Ripa.

The insider added Taylor has been begging her boyfriend to stay with her on the West coast as she is deeply concerned that Seacrest is working too much. It is worthy to note that Taylor previously worked in L.A. but she moved to NYC to be with Ryan.

The concern among Seacrest's co-workers allegedly started when he was seen during the AI finale slurring his speech and his right eye appeared larger than his left. It was speculated at the time that Ryan may have suffered from a stroke on TV. Then, he made a decision to take the day off from Live with Ryan and Kelly.

Seacrest's rep denied that the host had a stroke. His spokesperson clarified that Ryan was just tired and was feeling the stress of working at home while adjusting to the new normal like many other people. His rep also explained that the day off that he took from his show with Ripa was just to give him time to rest.

Seacrest also denied the alleged stroke himself when he returned to Live with Ryan and Kelly. He told his co-host that it was all due to exhaustion.

The National Enquirer has published several speculations about Seacrest since the AI finale incident last month. Earlier this month, it also claimed that the TV host could go blind for administering Botox injection at home and without the supervision of a cosmetic surgeon.

The tabloid quoted a plastic surgeon as saying that if the injection was done incorrectly, it could result in permanent damage and Ryan could go blind. This speculation has been denied as well.
