According to a report by All Kpop, Song Joong Ki's agency History D&C has issued a statement threatening news outlets who are spreading groundless speculation and false rumors about the actor. They reiterated that spreading baseless information is a violation of the law.
The law firm of the lawyer Song Joong Ki is reported to be dating has also issued a strong position against the rumors. According to the statement Gwang Jang law firm, they are aware of the rumors that have been spreading about their lawyer and Song Joong Ki.
They stated that the fact that the personal details and other information is being distributed indiscriminately on portal sites, social media and online broadcasts constitute serious criminal acts.They warned those who have been actively spreading this information to immediately take down their posts. For those who will persist in spreading false information, the law firm warned of taking severe civil and criminal legal measures which include criminal charges and damage claims.
It can be recalled that last week, Song Joong Ki was involved in dating rumors with a lawyer. However, his label was quick to dismiss the reports upon learning that the news was spreading like wildfire in the legal industry.Based on the agency, the personal information of a female lawyer has been shared on instant messaging services as well.
History D&C denied the claims and said that Song Joong Ki has been busy carrying out his commitments and has no time to date.Song Joong Ki recently had to back out of appearing in the film Season of You and Me because of scheduling conflicts with the filming of his action movie Bogota.
It can be recalled that Bogota ran into some delays when Colombia closed its borders last March due to Coronavirus concerns. Song Joong Ki and the Bogota production were in the filming at the time. Due to production delays, the project is still unsure about the resumption of the filming so Song Joong Ki opted to step down from Season of You and Me and reorganize his schedule.
He recently completed the filming for the sci-fi film Space Sweepers. His agency said that he will be promoting the movie as scheduled, Soompi reported.
