Blindspot season 5 episode 6 is coming this week on NBC, with the title "Fire and Brimstone." This episode proved to be interesting as we're going to see a familiar face from last season returning. It also feels like the story shifts on some cool and fun stuff.
Ice Cream is one of the notable names at the end of the previous installment, and he'll be returning in Blindspot season 5 episode 6 with a very specific mission. It can be recalled that without his help, the entire team would've died in season 4.
Ice Cream helped the team get a clear passage to the safe house in the fourth installment. He now returns to collect his debt: the paintings. However, the team recognized that these aren't just ordinary paintings. He puts them in a situation where they might be left with no option.
The team may decide to get inside the museum and stole the paintings Ice Cream want. Yet, they put the safety of all agents at risk. Also, we're going to see gem going undercover, with Jane and Weller pretending as janitors, Rich as a pastor, and Patterson as a nun.
In the synopsis, the Icelander fixer came back to collect his debt, forcing the team into a life-and-death race around the world. What they need to do is to solve a series of puzzles and recover the infamous stolen Gardner paintings.
This story was already set up in the conclusion of the previous episode, and it seems like it proves to be fun and interesting. We're going to see the team going on a great art heist and partial treasure hunting, something that's different from their other missions.
The promo of Blindspot season 5 episode 6 also hints what's coming for Jane and the rest as they find themselves going on some crazy lengths just to help Ice Cream. Since they owe him a huge debt, he won't make things easy on them. Yet, helping him may get him off the team's backs.
What the team needs to do now is to break into the museum to recover the paintings. But then, this mission puts them at high risk of getting spotted by Madeline's men. Despite that, it looks like the team is getting closer to their end goal: stopping Madeline.
