Blindspot season 5 episode 5 is set to arrive this week on NBC, with the title "Head Games." This is an intense episode, as we're going to see Weller in a perilous situation. He was kidnapped and being tortured. It's clear that his life is on the line and the team needs to save him before it's too late.
One of the major questions in Blindspot season 5 episode 5 is whether or not Weller would be able to stand his current situation. What the team needs to do now is to get him out of the situation, though they also recognized that this wouldn't be an easy mission.
Within this episode, we're going to see Ivy Sand causing chaos in the lives of the FBI agents. She's the one who kidnapped Weller, and she's going to do whatever she can just to extract information from him -- particularly about their underground bunker.
Ivy and her team don't follow the rules and regulations of the FBI. They can stoop as low just to fulfill their mission. Although Weller is physically strong and can take down most of his enemies, the previous episode proved to be alarming.
His concerns for Bethany have taken a toll on his mental health, and Ivy might take advantage of this while torturing him. Perhaps, she'll threaten him to hurt Bethany and this could lead him to spilling out some information. Before everything gets too late, the team must find Weller and save him.
But, in the end, Weller may survive all of this. After all, the character has already gone through a lot. He has face near-death situations, highs and lows, and heartbreaks. The team may arrive on time, so he won't have to give up information to Ivy.
As for what else is coming in Blindspot season 5 episode 5, Jane also battles for her life after being shot. Just like Weller, her life is also on the line. Yet, it's apparent that the character would make it out alive in the end. After all, she is the forefront of the series, so it would be odd killing the major character.
Meanwhile, Zapata is also pregnant with Reade's child. She's still dealing with the aftermath of Reade's death and her pregnancy didn't seem to change what she feels on the field. She decided to keep it a secret for the time being, but it would be nice to spill this so they could have a joyous moment amid the chaos.
Blindspot season 5 episode 5 airs on Thursday night, June 11, on NBC.
