Everybody knows that Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS. But what most people didn’t know is that he is the baby of the Big Hit Entertainment staff.
And in Episode 104 of Run BTS!, the staff has proven once again how much they love their baby Jungkook. The BTS boys played musical cushions to decide the sequence of who would choose their outfits from the rack first, then second, and so on.
Suga won the game, so he gets to pick first. J-Hope was second, Jin was third, RM was fourth, Jungkook was fifth, Jimin was sixth, and V was the last. The goal was to create an outfit using fabric paint, glue guns, and more.
The boys were then given the chance to add more materials to their chosen outfits by winning mini-challenges with the staff. Jungkook was aiming for a gangster-inspired ensemble and wanted the gold chain from the table. But to get that, the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer had to win the staff’s challenge.
As mentioned above, Jungkook is Big Hit Entertainment staff’s baby, which is why when he raised his hand to try his luck on the mini-challenge, they couldn’t have given him an easier question. The staff told the Golden Maknae that his challenge was “name that capital city,” knowing fully well that JK is good at it.
Jungkook, most of the time, nailed this trivia game, but he also had his share of bad luck. So to make sure that their baby will get the gold chain that he wanted, the staff asked him, “What is the capital of Korea?” Of course, he knew the answer. “Seoul!” he confidently replied.
The rest of the members then complained at Jungkook’s extremely easy challenge. Jin and Suga, in particular, were not having it, “Hang on! What is this?” they asked. RM looked betrayed as he took off his sunglasses and stared at the staff in dismay. But for baby JK, he wiggled his hands enthusiastically and smiled from ear to ear.
As for Jin, this wasn’t the only scene that he complained about Jungkook. During the game, he was standing before JK and suffered the consequence of it. The Golden Maknae is known for his competitiveness and would do everything to win the game. Although he plays fair, he also plays hard.
So during the musical cushion, Jin and Jungkook had to fight for one cushion. Although he beat Jungkook, his win came at a high cost as the much-heavier, more muscular JK bumped into him that almost broke his back. (watch the clip here).
