Yellowstone season 3 episode 1 is set to arrive later this week on Paramount Network, with the title "You're the Indian Now." Within this episode, we're going to see the Dutton family returns and facing several problems. This time around, they'll be dealing with a new foe.
John Dutton and the rest of the family want a moment to relax and breathe, considering what happened in the season 2 finale. However, that won't happen once Yellowstone season 3 episode 1. Someone will arrive at the ranch and ready to cause chaos.
It has been confirmed that Josh Holloway's Roarke will be the major foe of the Dutton family this season. He turns up in an unwelcome way and makes his intentions clear. He is a developer and a powerful hedge-fund manager, someone who could bring chaos to most of the characters.
The premiere sees the Duttons facing their biggest foe yet, and this time, it is man vs. government. When the government places a lien on the Dutton land, the family didn't take kindly to it. Based on the synopsis, John will reshuffle the political decks amid the Beck Brothers debacle.
As for Beth, she finds a trespasser on the ranch. Later on, she learns that this person -- presumably Roarke -- has a big ambition for the surrounding land. Also, it seems like Beth's past love might be reappearing which could complicate things emotionally.
Yellowstone season 2 episode 1 also sees John helping Tate dealing with his nightmare. His grandson is facing some traumas that transpired in the season 2 finale. In some parts of the premiere, we're going to see more of the other side of the story.
Kacey, on the other hand, will try to fight his past demon and finds his place within the family. This is where his future depends on. Meanwhile, Jimmy and the cowboys start looking for other work, hinting that the family's handymen believe they might've been on the wrong side.
How will the Dutton family pull all of these through and prove everyone wrong? With the arrival of their major foe, it's clear that things could get even more complicated. Yet, it the end, they'll get through all of it as the Duttons never back down to any challenge.
