Station 19 season 4 is happening on ABC, yet there's still a question when it comes to its future. The series may not be coming back anytime soon due to the real-life health crisis. But despite that, there are a lot of stories worth-exploring once the new installment arrives.

One of the stories that should be addressed in Station 19 season 4 is the presence of Jesse Williams' Dr. Jackson Avery. The character seemed to be around through most of the conclusion of the third installment, with some considering him as a series regular already.

Jackson was a part of the PRT, so his medial skills and time spent with Ben Warren make him the perfect character for the crossover. But the question now is: will the character play a huge role moving forward? That seems likely right now.

If the PRT lives on, then the story in Station 19 season 4 is going to look a little bit different. Yet, Grey's Anatomy may also want to bring back Jackson. After all, he deserves a huge storyline in the series, given that he hasn't had one over the past few years.

But beyond that, CarterMatt noted Station 19 season 4 will likely spread the Grey's Anatomy crossover. They definitely want to make several appearances happen, but that won't possibly happen all at once. This would allow the crossover characters and series regulars to shine in their own way.

Meanwhile, there are still uncertainties when it comes to the arrival of the fourth installment. Filming won't probably start anytime soon because of the real-life health crisis. Everyone could start working when things get a little get better.

But just recently, ABC unveiled their 2020-2021 schedule, but this is not a typical schedule. It's worth noting that the network didn't designate it as the fall schedule. While they want their shows to come back in the fall, they didn't guarantee anything.

Some programs are still in the same timeslot, but others have been moved. For instance, The Conners will be taking over the timeslot of the Modern Family. In addition, The Bachelorette has been moved to Tuesday nights as well.

For Station 19 season 4, the series will air every Thursday at 8 PM Eastern time. Then, it will be followed by Grey's Anatomy season 17 at 9 PM. The timeslot has been changed, but still followed the usual release date schedule. However, as per CarterMatt, some things are still subject to change.
