However, the BTS boys have proven multiple times that fame and fortune have not changed them. In fact, they remained humble despite their status in the industry.
Recently, Jin broke Twitter after photos of him at a wedding ceremony were posted on the social media platform. Despite being a member of the most popular boy group right now, the 27-year-old singer and songwriter sets his K-pop idol world aside to keep his promise to a friend.
Jin was not only a guest at his friend’s wedding, but he was the host. The BTS star seemed to consider his 15-year long friendship to his pal to be more important than his celebrity life.
Although Jin’s Worldwide Handsome face could easily grab anyone’s attention, photos and clips show that he tried to blend in with the crowd and didn’t attempt to take the spotlight away from the couple. His presence was also not mentioned before the event as one of the wedding guests, who appeared to be extremely shocked, shared on social media that they just saw Jin.
ARMYs then took to social media to share how impressed they were of Jin’s loyalty. Many pointed out that given his status, it is hard for him to go anywhere freely, but he risked it all to host his friend’s wedding.
“What a good friend Jin is to host this wedding. That’s true loyalty. He’s the best!” one wrote. “That’s a superstar visual. It probably hadn’t been an easy decision to show up, being who he is… Kudos to Jin for being a really cool guy!” another one shared.
Meanwhile, Jin previously shared that he’s jealous of his friends outside the entertainment world. His revelation was shocking yet understandable at the same time. It’s not that hard to see why many would be jealous of the BTS members, as they have fame, fortune, and more. But for the boys to envy their non-celebrity friends was a bit of a shocker to fans.
In Episode 6 of BTS’s new docuseries Break The Silence, Jin opened up about how his friends envy his life and how he envy their lives. While BTS has financial freedom, they are not free to go anywhere they want. This appears to be one of the main things why Jin was jealous of his friends.
