Kim Soo Hyun's comeback drama is off to a promising start as Its Okay not to Be Okay (formerly known as Psycho But Its Okay) topped its timeslot for its premiere episode on June 20.

According to a report by Soompi, tvN's romance drama Its Okay Not to Be Okay premiered to an average nationwide rating of 6.1 percent, peaking at 7.0 percent. This put Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji's drama at the top of the ratings among all cable channels.

It impressively topped the ratings among all other channels as well, including public broadcast networks for key demographic viewers ages 20-49. The drama scored an average rating of 4.3 percent and peaked at 5.1 percent.

Its Okay Not to Be Okay also ranked well with female viewers in their 40s and raked in an impressive 10.6 rating for the specific demographic.

In the drama, Kim Soo Hyun plays the role of a health worker at a community psychiatric center while Seo Ye Ji plays the role of a children's book author who suffers from antisocial personality disorder.

Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji were all praises for one another as they worked in the drama. Kim Soo Hyun praised Seo Ye Ji for her great voice and her ability to draw people into her performance.

Seo Ye Ji said that Kim Soo Hyun always sets the mood on the set and helped everyone get into their roles with his great acting ability and influence.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook's Backstreet Rookie, which he stars with opposite Kim Yoo Jung, also picked up its ratings for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the June 20 broadcast drew in 3.7 percent and 6.8 percent of the audience for its two parts.

The series picked up the timeslot left open by Lee Min Ho's The King:Eternal Monarch.

For his recent project, Ji Chang Wook plays the role of a convenience store owner who tries to keep his business afloat with the help of an employee who used to be a high school bully.

Ji Chang Wook said that in contrast to his previous roles, his character this time is not cool, but instead has an endearing quality about him that can relate to the audience. Kim Yoo Jung, for her part, said that her role may be scary at times but even that aspect of her character is lovable. Both actors said that they have a blast on the set of the webtoon-inspired romcom.
