The 100 season 7 episode 8 is coming next month on The CW, with the title "Anaconda." This is a significant episode as it would likely serve as the backdoor pilot for the prequel. It's a chance to learn more about what really happened to Earth many years ago.

The 100 season 7 episode 8 could give us more insights into what lies in the prequel series, which was announced some time ago. Some of the stories here could set up something more for the future and it could offer more stories as to how the Earth was before.

As per CarterMatt, the prequel project is in contention of being picked up and nothing is confirmed at the moment. Yet, there is a huge possibility the series would happen, given that the flagship show is already setting up some stories for it.

Based on the synopsis of The 100 season 7 episode 8, a surprising connection will take us back to the past, as well as the nuclear apocalypse that destroyed the Earth. This is a clear indication that we're diving deep with the events that transpired when the planet was still normal.

As for Clark, the episode sees her confronting a new adversary. It's exciting to see how all of these stories will play out within this episode. Given that the current installment serves as the series' final run, there could be unexpected reveals here.

As for what else we can expect in the prequel, series creator Jason Rothenberg said the spin-off doesn't have any title at the moment. But, the story would take place in the aftermath of the first nuclear apocalypse in the world.

Meanwhile, there have been questions surrounding Bob Morley's Bellamy's fate in the series. He was suddenly taken out just when he seemed to be back in the story. Some of the characters think that he is really gone, yet there's still uncertainty when it comes to it.

Bellamy was not around through most of the final season, and it would be odd if he comes back then be killed off just like that. Furthermore, there's no dead body that was shown. So, while others think he is already gone, he could probably make an appearance at some point in the story.

The 100 season 7 episode 8 airs on airs on Wednesday night, July 8, on The CW. The episode is directed by Ed Fraiman and written by Jason Rothenberg.
