As a Prince and future King of the United Kingdom, Prince William is maybe one of the busiest members of the Royal Family. But, how is it to work with a royal, like Kate Middleton's husband?

Seyi Obakin OBE, chief executive officer at Centrepoint, talked about how it is to spend time with Prince William, doing charity works and other missions. As he taught him how to do these works, he saw how committed the Duke of Cambridge was to do it.

To learn more about the issue of homelessness, the second in line to the throne slept on the streets amid the chilly December weather with Obakin in 2009. He learned all these social issues at a young age, when his mom, Princess Diana, who was its first patron, first visited the center with Prince Harry. Since then, he has been passionate about it.

He became Centrepoint's patron in 2005. For the past 15 years, he has been continuously "learning, raising awareness, and helping" the cause in any way he can. In an interview with Mirror Online, Obakin said they were all delighted when Prince William wanted to be their patron after several years of not having a philanthropist after Princess Diana's passing.

Obakin was convinced that his mother's legacy had something to do with his will to be Centrepoint's patron. Prince William has the voice that they do not have, and it seems like he is more willing to use it for the benefit of homeless people.

In 2018, Prince William said that his visit with his mom at the center as a child stayed with him due to the selfless service he saw. Since then, he usually does private and public visits.

For Obakin, the most powerful thing whenever he pays a visit is that Prince William can be "informal and easy to get on with." Despite his stand, his informality helps to remove young people's nervousness when he is around.

He can start great conversations that help young people. So, to effectively play his role, he usually spends time learning about the homelessness issues by meeting people who are affected and those who are helping them.

Prince William has a lot of things to do for the monarchy. As part of the Royal Family, he has to help Queen Elizabeth II in doing her royal duties. He also has to carry out work in public and charitable service.

According to CNBC, the Royal Family usually does 2,000 official engagements, meets 70,000 people, and receives and answers 100,000 letters a year. Prince William and his wife are also busy tending their own charity, the Royal Foundation.
